Group Life, Short & Long Term Disability

Big “I” Group Term Life
IIABA’s program can provide coverage for final expenses. Also, it can help with various other family needs, such as estate settlement, probate costs, mortgage payoff, college expenses, and payment of medical expenses, to name a few. The program offers guaranteed issues (with certain requirements being met), a variety of plan alternatives to fit your agency’s needs, coverage for spouses and children, and optional coverage for employees.

Short Term Disability

• Available to all IIABA members and employees actively at work for 30 hours a week or more
• Up to $500 in weekly benefits
• No pre-existing conditions imposed
• Maternity coverage
• Choose between Benefit Durations of 13 weeks or 26 weeks
• Guaranteed Issue (with specific requirements being met)

Long Term Disability

• Available to all IIABA members and employees actively at work for 30 hours a week or more
• Up to $10,000 in monthly benefits
• Waiver of premium available
• Residual disability benefits
• Two levels of plans available: 60% of earnings and 66 2/3% of earnings
• Guaranteed Issue (specific requirements must be met)
