FMCSA Extends CDL Medical Certificates

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has issued an additional waiver for CDL Medical Certificates (DOT Medical Cards). Certificates that expire between June 1, 2021 and November 29, 2021 will expire on November 30, 2021. The RMV has updated customer records in ATLAS. Affected customers will receive an email informing them of the extension. They must self-certify prior to the expiration date listed above or their CDLs will be downgraded to Class D licenses.
