Utica's Loss Control Credit Requirements and Available Class Schedules

How to Qualify for Utica’s Loss Control Credit
~Available to P&C Agents Only~
When you meet any of the three criteria below, a 5% credit will be applied to your premium -- up to a maximum of 10% credit. The criteria must be met every year for the credit to be continued.
    1. Staff Designation Credit -- at least 60% of the agency staff have achieved recognized designations:
CISR CIC CRM CPPL CRIS CCLP AAI
including CPSR, ACSR, CPCU and others...
 
    2. Seminar Attendance Credit
Who must attend?
Total Staff Size    
1-3 1 principal/office manager OR 1 CSR
4-10 1 principal/office manager AND 1 CSR
11-20 1 principal/office manager AND 2 CSRs
21 20% of staff
When should you go? 
To qualify, required staff must attend an approved seminar within the last 24 months of the policy expiration date
or within 60 days of your policy inception date.


(*This credit is not available to Life and Health E&O Policy Holders.)
 
What classes qualify?
Designation Programs:
  If a Designated CIC in good standing - Any CIC annual update
  If a Designated CIC in good standing - Any James K. Ruble seminars
  CIC Agency Management Institute - This does not require CIC designation to qualify.
  The annual update for CISR's known as "Agency Operations" [1 day ]
  Loss Control and Prevention  [2 days / part of the Certified Professional in Personal Lines (CPPL) Designation]
  Reviewing E&O Exposures - Part 7 [1 day / part of the Certified Commercial Lines Professional (CCLP) Designation]
  Advanced Personal Lines Risk Analysis for E&O Prevention [1 day ] -- Do not need to have CPIA designation to qualify
  Advanced Commercial Lines Risk Analysis for E&O Prevention [1 day ] -- Do not need to have CPIA designation to qualify
 
Streaming Live:
  Streaming Class - E&O Roadmap to Policy Analysis Part 1 & 2 [6 Hrs] ...check listing for when program will run
